Oberacker Files with Nearly $130,000
Gains 2-to-1 advantage over opponent
Schenevus, NY – Candidate for New York State Senate Peter Oberacker announced today that he has filed his financial disclosure showing $128,217.78 brought in since jumping in the race a few short months ago.
“The outpouring of support for our campaign is overwhelming and energizing. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, the people of the 51st Senate District have taken time to back me and I am incredibly grateful. I look forward to working closely with those who live and work here ensuring they will continue to have a strong voice in Albany,” Oberacker said.
“Effective representation will be more important than ever as we work to bring our economy back to life following the pandemic. I stand ready to face this challenge and many others,” he continued.
Oberacker’s campaign finance plan included matching the contributions with his personal commitment to the race. The campaign raised nearly $60,000 from donors while Oberacker committed $70,000 of his own funds.
Additionally, over 80% of donations from individual supporters were $100 or less and contributions came in from donors in all nine counties throughout the 51st senate district.
“Our campaign is showing a great breadth and depth of support not only in our fundraising efforts, but among supporters as well. We are pleased to have met our finance goals for this first filing period and we plan to successfully continue this trend and continue to meet our goals and invest as needed to be successful,” Oberacker said.
“I am committed to winning this race and being an effective representative for the people of the 51st senate district,” Oberacker concluded.
